A Day to Remember | Faith’s Year 6 Graduation 2025
Mel Griffith, Head of Primary

The Year 6 Graduation was an incredible success, with a huge turnout of over 350 attendees and more than 70 students travelling from across Queensland.

For many, it was the first time meeting their teachers and classmates in person, yet connections were formed quickly and naturally.

Families travelled from near and far to celebrate the Year 6 graduation at Faith, where overwhelming emotion filled the room as students met one another, some for the first time. The photobooth captured joyful moments that beautifully reminded us of God’s goodness and the precious memories He has woven into their primary school years.

The ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of the students’ hard work and dedication throughout their Primary years. After the formalities, the festivities continued at Area 51 Underwood, where students tested their agility and strength through exciting activities. This experience provided a fantastic opportunity for further bonding and the strengthening of friendships.

Our Year 6 Graduation, held on Thursday 13th November at Calvary Family Church, was a wonderful celebration of achievement and community. With so many students and families attending to support and encourage, the afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and pride. After cohort photos, finger foods, and warm conversations, students cherished the chance to meet their classmates in person — a special moment for our online learners and proud teachers alike. The celebrations continued with an informal catch-up at Area 51, where fun, friendship, and lasting memories were made. It was a day that truly reflected the spirit, growth, and connection of our 2025 Year 6 cohort.
