Cairns Family Cluster Get Together - A Morning of Connection

Cairns Family Cluster Get Together - A Morning of Connection
Samantha Kelley, Primary Teacher

On Friday 13 June, families from the Cairns region gathered at Centenary Park, Kuranda for a wonderful morning of connection and community.

A morning of meaningful connection

At the end of Week 8, the Cairns region was honoured to welcome Pastor Warren and Rosie Spooner for a special Faith family cluster meet-up. This event provided a valuable opportunity for students and families to gather in a relaxed, friendly setting.

The morning tea offered a casual and welcoming space for Faith students and homeschoolers to meet, make new friends, and enjoy time outdoors together. It was wonderful to see students connecting, laughing, and sharing in the joy of community. Pastor Warren made the most of the occasion by getting to know students and even identifying potential Year 5 and Year 11 student leaders.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the day so special, and a big thank you to Samantha for organising this fantastic event! Events like these are a beautiful reminder of the strength and warmth within our Faith community.

Keep an eye out for future parent-driven family cluster events, which are likely to take place in the Cairns and northern beaches areas, as well as across the western Atherton Tablelands region. We look forward to seeing you at the next gathering!
