Celebrating a Milestone: 2,000 Students Enrolled at Faith

This term, Faith Christian School reached an exciting milestone by welcoming our 2,000th student to our current cohort! While the number itself is significant, the milestone represents something even more meaningful: a growing community of families who have chosen our education model which is tailored to their child's needs, circumstances, and goals.

Our Executive Principal, Graeme Johnston, said the growth reflects a changing understanding of what quality education can look like.

“Every family’s journey is different, and we know from talking to Faith parents that they are seeking flexibility, strong teacher support, and an approach that allows students to thrive both academically and spiritually.”

At Faith, our students participate in live online classes with qualified Christian teachers, with every lesson recorded in case it's missed. This flexibility supports a diverse range of learners, including students balancing sports, performing arts, health, family, or other commitments. 

Importantly, learning from home does not mean learning alone. Our students have access to our vibrant Faith community through sporting carnivals, camps, competitions, cocurricular activities, clubs, and student leadership opportunities. Throughout the year, we students connect with one another both online and in person across Queensland.

The school's growth has also been accompanied by outstanding student achievement. Faith students have competed successfully in academic, literary, sporting, and endurance events, including the World Scholar's Cup, Readers' Cup, Pedal Prix, and Kokoda Challenge. These accomplishments reflect not only strong academic outcomes, but also perseverance, teamwork, and character development.

For many Faith graduates, the skills developed through distance education have become a key advantage beyond school. Independence, self-discipline, time management, and responsibility are qualities that serve students well as they move into tertiary study, employment, and adulthood.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are grateful for our families, students, and staff who have helped shape our community over the years. Reaching 2,000 students is not simply about growth - it is about continuing to provide a Christ-centred education that supports students to learn, flourish, and pursue their God-given potential in a way that works for them and their families.
