Faith Bushwalking Club Launches with a Successful First Adventure

The Faith Bushwalking Club enjoyed a fantastic start on Saturday afternoon at Bunyaville Conservation Park, with students, parents, and family members coming together for our inaugural club walk.

Participants explored over 8 kilometres of trails, enjoying the peaceful bushland, beautiful evening light filtering through the trees and plenty of opportunities for conversation along the way. As the sun began to set, the group continued their journey, arriving back at the car park shortly after dark and putting their head torches to good use.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the strong sense of community that developed throughout the walk. Students had the opportunity to connect with others across the school, while families enjoyed walking together and getting to know one another outside their usual learning environment. These shared outdoor experiences are at the heart of what the Bushwalking Club aims to achieve: fostering friendships, building resilience, encouraging healthy lifestyles and strengthening our school community.

A special thank you to all the students, parents and family members who attended and helped make the launch such a success. We look forward to seeing the club continue to grow throughout the year.
