Faith Christian School Named Finalist for the Equipped Outdoors Outdoors Queensland Awards

Faith Christian School is thrilled to announce that it has been named a finalist for the 2024 Equipped Outdoors Outdoor Education Award. This award recognizes institutions that provide outstanding outdoor education programs, significantly impacting participants’ physical abilities, mental health, and overall well-being in adventurous, nature-based settings.

The Equipped Outdoors Outdoor Education Award  honours schools, early childhood, out of school care, camps or outdoor education providers that deliver outdoor education programs in outdoor adventurous settings. Faith Christian School was chosen as a finalist alongside notable organisations, including Holloways Beach Environmental Education Centre, Wild and Wise Tribe, Outdoor Skills 4Kids Pty Ltd, and Youth Flourish Outdoors.

Faith Christian School’s outdoor education initiatives include the Duke of Edinburgh Award program, various team-building field trips and exercises, abseiling, mountain biking and leadership development in an adventurous outdoor environment. Through these programs, students gain valuable life skills, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the God's creation.
