Friday Sport Brings Fun, Fitness and Friendship in Term 3

Term 3 Friday Sport has provided students with wonderful opportunities to build friendships, develop skills, and enjoy active outdoor experiences. Field Sports in Brisbane tackled all the main football codes with soccer skills, touch football, obstacle courses, relay races, and mini-games that strengthened coordination, ball control, teamwork, and confidence.

Archery and Archery Tag continued to grow in popularity, attracting many new participants while returning students refined their technique and challenged themselves in a supportive environment.

Bushwalking groups made the most of the beautiful weather, exploring local trails around the Sunshine Coast region, enjoying conversation, and connecting with new friends along the way. On the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Flag Football delivered plenty of excitement, energy, and teamwork as students embraced friendly competition and skill development in a new game. Gold Coast Flag Football has one more session to make up for the show holiday.

In South Brisbane, students were getting their wrestle on and getting up close and personal whilst honing their skills in jiu-jitsu.

Across every activity in Friday Sport, it is our goal at Faith for each student to Connect, Move and Grow. It has been inspiring to see students encouraging one another, trying new challenges, and creating lasting memories and friendships through Friday Sport this term.

Term 4 activities are currently being finalised, and registrations for Friday Sport will be open in the coming weeks, so be sure to visit the Friday Sport Registration Page to see what’s on in your region and sign up.
