ONLINE EVENT: Explore the Great Barrier Reef

Do you want to dive into one of the Seven Wonders of the World without leaving your home?

We invite Years 7-12 students to take part in an 'Hour of Power' session where we will virtually deep-dive through the Great Barrier Reef to explore one of the most incredible ecosystems on Earth.

JOIN SESSION

During this interactive session, students will:

  • Immerse in the wonderful world of coral reefs
  • Learn how to identify different types of coral
  • Analyse real images from the Great Barrier Reef
  • Use technology to become a Reef Citizen Scientist, supporting research that is helping save the Great Barrier Reef.

This is not just a lesson it’s a chance to work with real scientific data and help researchers better understand and protect our reefs.
