Help Our Year 9 Faith Writers Make a Difference in Cancer Research - Donate Today
Roxanne Blank, Year 9 Coordinator

A team of Year 9 students is taking on an incredible challenge in the final week of this term: to write and illustrate a novel (3,500–5,000 words) in just 12 hours, all to raise vital funds for children’s cancer research.

This initiative, run by the Kids’ Cancer Project, raised nearly one million dollars last year alone to support life-saving research. Every novel created will also be available to children in hospitals across Australia - brightening their days with new stories, while the funds raised will help bring them closer to going home sooner.

If you would like to support our students in this project:

  1. Visit 👉 https://writeabookinaday.com/what-is-write-a-book-in-a-day/
  2. Click on 'Sponsor' at the top right.
  3. Search for "Faith Christian School of Distance Education" - QLD.
  4. Donate to an individual student (use their first name) or to the group, "Faith Word Warriors".

All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Thank you for standing with our students to make a difference!
