Living Faith in Action | Mission Trip to Newlife Robina

Living Faith in Action | Mission Trip to Newlife Robina
Faith News

From Thursday 21 August to Saturday 23 August, a group of Faith students joined the Mission Outreach Trip Part 2, partnering with Newlife Church Robina and Coolangatta.

Over three incredible days, our students stepped out of their comfort zones to serve and grow in their faith while supporting local ministries.

Hands-On Outreach

The Mission Trip offered Faith students a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful outreach, from assisting at Blue Care Centres and running a BBQ outreach at Coolangatta Skate Park, to helping with Crossroads services and lending a hand in the Op Shop. Each experience was a chance for students to live out their faith in practical ways. Through conversations, acts of service, prayer and praise, our students displayed what it looks like to live selflessly and help those in need.

Spiritual Growth and Reflection

Beyond service, the Mission Trip was also a time of spiritual growth. Teaching sessions, debriefs, and shared worship encouraged students to reflect on their experiences and strengthen their walk with Christ.

A Meaningful Conclusion

The final morning wrapped up with a fundraiser sausage sizzle and a heartfelt closing session, where students and Pastoral Care staff reflected on the impact of the trip and prayed together.

More Than a Program

Mission Trip Part 2 was a time of community, service, and transformation, as our students returned with a deeper understanding of what it means to live missionally in everyday life. Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip come to life. We can't wait for the next one!
