Outstanding Performance at Gold Coast Pedal Prix

Faith Christian School of Distance Education celebrated another outstanding performance at the Gold Coast round of the Pedal Prix Super Series, held at Nerang on Saturday, 1 August.

Competing against 21 teams from nine schools, our students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, determination, and endurance throughout the day, achieving impressive results across multiple divisions:

Adding to the day's success, Faith also recorded the Fastest School Lap, with Tom N completing the 620-metre circuit in an incredible 41.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 53.78 km/h.

A huge thank you goes to our dedicated staff and parents who generously gave their time to help set up the track, support our teams, and cheer on our students throughout the event.

A special thank you also goes to our Pedal Prix Captain, Joe E, whose outstanding leadership has been instrumental in the team's success throughout the season. His dedication, encouragement, and commitment have helped foster a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence, while the respect he shows to students, parents, staff, and fellow competitors reflects Faith's core values of Diligence and Forbearance. As the team prepares for the final endurance events, we are grateful for the example Joe continues to set both on and off the track.

We now look ahead to our next challenge, the 16-hour overnight endurance race in Emerald. It promises to be a cold, fast, and exciting event, and we wish all our riders the very best as they prepare for another unforgettable race.
