Turning the Page on Competition: Readers Cup Highlights
We’re proud to celebrate the incredible efforts of our Faith Primary students who recently represented our School at the Readers Cup Challenge on the Gold Coast 📖
Competing against some of Queensland’s top private schools, our dedicated team secured an impressive 4th place out of 22 schools, with only 2 points behind the 1st place winners - what a remarkable achievement!

"All four worked so well together and loved the experience. It was really beautiful watching them work." - Christine Cocolos
The Readers Cup is a fast-paced literary quiz competition that requires teams to read and retain detailed knowledge from a selection of books. Our students showed true grit, teamwork, and a love for reading as they rose to the challenge. The leaderboard (see image below) is a testament to their hard work and we're thrilled to have outperformed many well-resourced competitors!
To honour their commitment, each team member was gifted copies of all the required books as a keepsake. The additional copies will be added to the Faith Library so that other students can enjoy and be inspired by the same stories.
This is more than just a competition, it’s a beautiful example of community spirit, academic excellence, and the joy of reading. Congratulations to our team, and thank you to the staff and families who supported them on this journey!
Well done, team - you've made our Faith community proud!
