Year 9 Geography South Bank Excursion

Year 9 Geography South Bank Excursion
Brenda Hides, 7-9 Geography Teacher

On Friday, 1 May, 14 Year 9 Geography students attended an excursion to South Bank as part of our Term 2 unit on interconnections. During the day, students collected valuable fieldwork evidence for their upcoming assessment, including photographs, field sketches, interviews and surveys. Their observations focused on how people, places and environments are connected, including tourism impacts, land use, transport, and the ways people interact with the space.

It was a wonderful day of learning, with students engaging actively in the field while also building positive relationships with one another. Five staff members were in attendance, including Mrs Diana Braybrooke,, Mrs Brenda Hides,  Mrs Danita Martin, Miss Rebecca Stevens and Mrs Alison Wind. Thank you to all students and staff for your enthusiastic participation and support in making this Geography excursion such a success.
