Faith Feature Friday: Mrs Jenna Towers
Meet Mrs Jenna Towers
This year, I joined Faith’s Senior Secondary Learning Enrichment Team, where I teach Year 10 QCIA students and support Senior Secondary students through individualised support plans. I also manage access arrangements and reasonable adjustments for their exams.
Previously, I was blessed with the opportunity to work in diverse schools, including International Baccalaureate colleges in Dubai, teaching English in Germany, and working in the Northern Territory with students on cattle stations and in remote Indigenous communities.
I find joy in gardening and baking, especially spending time with my family in the vegetable garden and creating a variety of sourdough bread flavours. I volunteer as a Lifeline counsellor and actively support my sons’ involvement in Scouts, joining them on camps and outdoor adventures. My eldest son’s love for ballet and the performing arts also sees us spending lots of time at the theatre.
What do you love most about your role at Faith?
I love getting to know my students and learning about their God-given gifts and talents. It's incredibly rewarding, journey with them in a flexible environment that fosters self-discovery and individuality.
What is a fun fact about you?
I have lived and worked in 6 different countries.
Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?
My favorite place on Earth is by the ocean, where I can go swimming, scuba diving, and explore its wonders. The salty sea breeze and the soft sand make it truly an enchanting place to be.
