Meet Mr Josh Leembruggen

Mr Josh Leembruggen is our wonderful Sport Coordinator at Faith!

I am a Jesus follower, husband, and dad to three boys - family is everything. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been learning to get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

When I left school, I said I would never go to uni. After some encouragement from close friends and family, I went on to study, and I’ve now been teaching for 16 years as HOD of Sport and HPE. Before that, I worked as a renderer and personal trainer.

I have a passion for sport and the outdoors and enjoy seeing others try new things and discover what energises them. I love challenging myself and mentoring young people to become the best version of themselves.

Providing opportunities for students and staff to connect through physical activity.

What is a fun fact about you?

I love my Broncos.

What inspired you to work in your current role?

A lifestyle change and the chance to spend more time with my family.

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

There are a few, but Japan for snowboarding has to be up there.
