Meet Chappy Pete

Creating Connection through Care

Caring, coaching, creating with and through Christ is how I would summarise my life. It is a pleasure to help people either by caring for them, guiding them through coaching or assisting them through creativity and this is how I seek to live my life as a disciple of Christ.

My role as a follower of Christ is to disciple others so they can learn to disciple others.

Because of my passion and desire to help people, I studied and completed a Bachelor of Ministry, specifically focusing on Pastoral Care as I believe this is what God has called me to do.

I am married to Stacey, and we have two beautiful and talented daughters, Hannah and Zoe (they take after their mum). As a family we love to spend time together either eating a meal or walking our dog, Chara. Prayer, Church and Worship are important parts of our family dynamics, and we enjoy being part of our church community and serving in whatever way we are needed.

What do you love most about your role at Faith?

The opportunity to connect with and care for students, families and staff.

What is a fun fact about you?

I have had over 15 professions in my working life so far.

What inspired you to work in your current role?

Because I believe in the motto of Faith CSDE to "Disciple students towards their God-given destinies"

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

Anywhere with my family and worshipping God. Both of these fill up my love bucket and fill me with Joy.

What is the most rewarding part of working with students?

Seeing their "God design" potential.

What is your favorite book or film and why?

The final book of the Bible, "Revelation", because it is the "Revelation of Jesus Christ" and how He is Victorious. How God does everything by the law to restore His order and design for humanity and their relationship with Him.
