Meet Mr Steven Gill

Did you know Mr Gill has been on T.V? He once a contestant on Millionare Hot Seat with Eddie McGuire!

Steven is new to Faith, starting this year, joining his wife Michelle who works in the Learning Enrichment Department. He has been teaching Senior Maths and Science for over 10 years and loves any opportunity to explore the mysteries of Mathematics or Physics with his students.

What do you love most about your role at Faith?

The opportunity to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, both geographically and in life more broadly.

What inspired you to work in your current role?

I genuinely love Mathematics and Science and enjoy sharing that passion with young minds who love these subjects as much as I do.

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

Any cricket ground in the world. It could be my local park with a synthetic wicket or the MCG, anywhere the great game can be played.

What is the most rewarding part of working with students?

When you can inspire a student to connect deeply with a subject that truly interests them and help them understand how the world around them works.

What is your favorite book or film and why?

Star Wars captured my imagination as a child and has never let go. I love the countless stories told in that universe, whether through films, video games, TV, or books.
