Meet Mrs Claire Tihi

Mrs Claire Tihi is one of our wonderful Primary Teachers at Faith!

I am a dedicated educator with over 10 years of experience in the classroom. As a mother of two teenagers and a dog lover, I bring a nurturing and compassionate approach to teaching.

I began my career as a teacher aide, which equipped me with a wealth of practical skills and insights. Later, I pursued a Bachelor of Education (Primary) to further my passion for teaching. My journey from teacher aide to qualified teacher has enriched my ability to support and inspire my students.

What do you love most about your role at Faith?

It is very diverse and different from classroom teaching.

What is a fun fact about you?

I run the Dog Training Club at Faith. I have two dogs, a corgi and a dorgi!

What inspired you to work in your current role?

My role as a teacher aide inspired me to become a teacher.

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

The beach, because the sound of the waves is amazing!

What is the most rewarding part of working with students?

Seeing the small steps of progress every day in my students' learning.

What is your favorite book or film and why?

Wonder by R.J Palacio. It is an inspirational and brave story.
