Meet Mrs Hayley Cromwell

I joined the Senior Learning Enrichment team at Faith in 2025, bringing a varied teaching background that’s taken me from Primary classrooms to Secondary Science, PE, and even Senior Psychology - which was such a rewarding experience. I’ve always loved supporting students in different stages of their learning, and stepping into Learning Enrichment has felt like the perfect fit.

Outside the classroom, life is full and busy! My husband and I have five children who keep us on our toes, and we love spending time outdoors—whether it’s waterskiing, trail running, walking, or pottering around in the garden. I enjoy cooking (especially baking bread) and, of course, eating the results. Born and raised in Queensland, I’m a country girl at heart who loves Jesus and loves people, and finds real joy in seeing young people grow, thrive, and discover their strengths.

What do you love most about your role at Faith? Working as a team to support students and families. What is a fun fact about you? My first job was as a farm labourer What inspired you to work in your current role? I was inspired to become a teacher after reading "Christy" by Catherine Marshall. Where is your favourite place on earth, and why? Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania. It is magical!
