Meet Mrs Helen White

Mrs Helen White is one of our wonderful Senior Secondary Teachers at Faith!

I am grateful for the diverse career path that has allowed me to balance my professional life with being a mother. I have the privilege of pursuing two careers that I am passionate about: secondary teaching and veterinary surgery.

My teaching journey spans both senior and junior levels of mathematics and science, in private and public schools across Queensland and Western Australia. I have also served as a Head of Department for Science.

Mathematics has always been the logical foundation of my learning, and this year, I am particularly enjoying the challenge of teaching maths online. It is rewarding to see my students grow in confidence and ability, even as I adapt to the demands of constant communication in a virtual environment.

While I do miss the face-to-face interactions that help build strong connections, I trust that I am where I am meant to be. I continue to learn and grow, confident that I am supported in this journey by my faith in God and a lovely team around me.
