I played the saxophone for 8 years.

What inspired you to work in your current role?

I have been teaching for a long time and the challenge to learn something new and try things differently was very appealing.

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

Maldives- I went there for my honeymoon and it really is a testimony to God's creation and beauty. It was an amazing time spent with my husband as well.

What is the most rewarding part of working with students?

Being able to build that connection. Having them excited to come to class and helping them through things that they didn't think they could do. Seeing those ah ha moments is pretty amazing too!

What is your favorite book or film and why?

The Greatest Showman- I love the costumes, singing and dancing. It is a story that shows there is always hope even when life gets difficult and that people should be valued no matter what they look like or their background.
