Meet Mrs Vicki Field

Mrs Vicki Field is our wonderful Year 9 Coordinator at Faith!

My name is Mrs Vicki Field and I have taught for a few years from the top of Australia on Erub island in the Torres Strait, out west to Charleville, Beaudesert, Logan and Brisbane areas and from Prep to Year 12.

My favourite things to do are swimming at North Straddie, paddleboarding along with hiking, sewing, knitting and exploring ancient castles in England.

I am also a Chaplain. I enjoy spending time with my God, husband, children and the dog.

What do you love most about your role at Faith?

The best things about my role is teaching students from across Australia and internationally to develop a passion for English.

What is a fun fact about you?

I competed in a Stand Up Board Paddle competition around Coochie Muddle Island and came last.

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

My favourite place is Cylinder Beach because of the crystal clear water, the beautiful sand and the ice cream shop which is a short walk up the hill.

What is the most rewarding part of working with students?

Watching students have fun with cake and chocolate in our online classroom.

What is your favorite book or film and why?

The Bible because God gives us his footprint to navigate this world.
