Meet Ms Elizabeth Sas

Ms Elizabeth Sas is one of our Specialist Primary and Seconday teachers at Faith!

Elizabeth has been a qualified teacher for over 30 years, graduating from the University of Western Sydney. Throughout her career, she felt a strong calling toward Christian education, where she could support the spiritual and emotional growth of students alongside their academic and physical development. In 2021, Elizabeth joined Faith CSDE and will be soon celebrating five years of service.

What do you love most about your role at Faith?

Freely sharing the good news about Jesus each day as it pops up naturally in our learning. Also, being able to pray for our students and their families.

What is a fun fact about you?

I love the beach but hate sandy feet.

What inspired you to work in your current role?

Faith CSDE values true educational excellence - balancing the spiritual, emotional, physical and academic wellbeing. This is my inspiration.

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

A garden full of flowers espcially roses where I can pick as many of them as I like and create beautiful floral arrangements.

What is the most rewarding part of working with students?

Apart from the 'Ah ha' moment, witnessing the power of the Holy Spirit on our students.

What is your favorite book or film and why?

Of course it's the bible and my all time favourite verse is Psalm 166: 1, 2. "I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!"
