Faith Feature Friday - Ms Skye Ebertson

Meet Ms Skye Ebertson

I have a background in Social work and currently completing my Master's in Primary Teaching. I have also previously volunteered on a number and variety of different Christian camps alongside regularly severing weekly in Kids church for many years.

I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading, I am currently into loom knitting and I love camping and also playing board games with friends. My family host a boardgames night weekly at house.

What do you love most about your role at Faith?

I am fairly new to my role but I love engaging with the students and seeing how best to support the students.

What is a fun fact about you?

I am extremely bendy, I can understand three different languages pretty fluently and 2 more partially.

What inspired you to work in your current role? I am currently doing a Master's of teaching and I thought by being present in this role I would help to complement my studies but I also like supporting students. Where is your favourite place on earth, and why? I really love Scotland and in particular the Scottish Highlands there is just something so magical about the place. What is your favorite book or film and why? My favourite film is soul surfer and my favourite book is Life without Limits by Nick Vujicic. The reason I love these stories in particular is you get to witness the strength of character and how strong they have held onto their faith in the struggle.
