Meet Ms Zara Di Bella

Ms Zara Di Bella is one of our wonderful Primary Teachers at Faith!

My teaching journey began as being one of those lucky people who knew what I wanted to be and went straight from school to university to the classroom.

Teaching has been the most amazing careers for me and I have taught a range of year levels in different countries.

Beginning in state schooling, my transition to Christian schooling was made early to better align with my passion for Christ. My move to Distance Education was made after my daughter was born in 2018 and I have never looked back.

Because of my passion for teaching, I also teach some pre-service teachers in online courses at university. I have worked in four different universities so far both in Queensland and interstate, and also face to face and online. I am a fierce advocate for the teaching profession, particularly online education.

What is a fun fact about you?

I love animals and I have a pet pig called Portia as well as 2 horses, 30+ chickens, 2 dogs, a cat, and a guinea fowl.

What inspired you to work in your current role?

I love the flexibility that students and families are given in their learning.

Where is your favourite place on earth, and why?

Tasmania - have you been there? It's obvious!
