Swimming Carnivals

Faith CSDE Swimming Carnivals are held across Qld in Term 4.  Carnivals are held in Logan, Sunshine Coast, Mackay, Emerald, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns.

Swimming Carnivals are open to Faith and Home Schooling students from age 10 and above.

Students participate in traditional swimming events as well as some other fun water-based games and activities.  We encourage participation and fun, and also award Age Champion Medals and Overall House Champion trophy.

We are looking forward to our Faith Swimming carnivals coming up all across Queensland!  We extend an invite to all Faith students and home schooling families.

Townsville:          Monday 30 September
Cairns:                 Monday 30 September
Emerald:              Monday 7 October
Rockhampton:    Monday 7 October
Sunshine Coast: Wednesday 9 October
Logan:                 Wednesday 9 October
Mackay:              Sunday 13 October

Note: For safety in the pool, this event is limited to students 10 years and above.  Any squad swimmers under 10 years of age may be eligible to compete.

In the case of my student requiring medical treatment or in the case of a medical emergency, I/we consent to the school providing first aid or treatment as outlined in a specific First Aid Plan and I/we further authorise the school, where it is impracticable to communicate with me/us, to arrange for him/her to receive such medical or surgical treatment as may be deemed necessary. I/we also undertake to pay any costs which may be incurred for the medical treatment, ambulance transport and drugs.
