Pastoral Care

Providing regular programs, pastoral interventions and spiritual encouragement for students and families.

Regular Programs

We have established a number of regular programs that contribute to the spiritual health of the School and the pastoral wellbeing of the student body and the staff, including:

Faith Prayer

One event each week for Staff and Parents, and another for Students. Next year, there will be a need for the Student program to expand (due to rising numbers of attendees). Initially, this will be achieved with the introduction of a Senior School and Junior School group.

Faith Student Bible Study

Faith Bible Studies is a place where students meet, to enrich their lives in the word of God.   This is open for students from Year 5 to Year 12, separated into two groups (Junior, Years 5-8 and Senior, Years 9-12).

Faith Talks

Our Chapel Service is a structured and planned weekly service based on themed series. Available also on Facebook and Spotify so families can access each week’s service later if they missed it or want to revisit. Support material is made available for use by staff in their pastoral roles.

Faith Missions/Outreach

Began as a “Mission Program” initially focused on establishing close support opportunities between the School and Indigenous schools and their communities, and soon expanded to take a more fluid approach to community opportunities for outreach and support, allowing students and other stakeholders to be more open to and responsive towards real helping possibilities across the State.

As School Pastor, it is my honour to oversee, promote and develop our Christian Worldview, to watch vigilantly for any threats or challenges that may impact our School’s values, to grow and nurture outreach and other ministry partnerships and opportunities that will contribute to the growth of our stakeholders and the furtherance of the Kingdom. We have an almost unique discipleship platform here at Faith and it is our responsibility to expand and refine it for all concerned and the glory of God.
