General Senior Subject
Biology is the study of life, its diversity, and how it evolves, interacts and functions.
Engaging research-based investigations enable Biology students to explore and explain everyday observations and find solutions to real-life contemporary health and environmental issues. A course of study in Biology can establish a basis for further education and employment in the fields of medicine, forensics, veterinary, food and marine sciences, agriculture, biotechnology, environmental rehabilitation, biosecurity, quarantine, conservation and sustainability.
Prerequisites
Students should have achieved a C+ minimum in Core Science and Core Maths.
