General English
General Senior Subject
English focuses on the study of both literary texts and non-literary texts, developing students as independent, innovative and creative learners and thinkers who appreciate the aesthetic use of language.
General English is suitable to students who want to prepare for tertiary study, as it is recognised in all tertiary institutions as a prerequisite, recommended study, or assumed knowledge for almost every degree.
Prerequisites
Students should have achieved C or equivalent in 10 Core English
