ICT20120 Cert II in Applied Digital Technologies - I have read and agree to the course requirements:
  • Students must submit a minimum of one task per week
  • Students must attend weekly tutorials until the first 5 tasks have been completed
  • Student will  need both a web cam and microphone. 
  • This course has tasks that require students to record their screen and themselves as well as work in collaboration with other students.

CHC22015 Cert II in Community Services - I have read and agree to the course requirements

  • Students need to arrange their own volunteer work placement at a Not for Profit Community Organisation, Church, or School. 
  • The student's parent and their workplace are not able to be the student's supervisor for the work placement.
  • The student's Work Experience Agreement Form must be uploaded no later then 6 weeks from starting the course and passed prior to beginning work at the workplace.
  •  A minimum of 1 Task is required to be submitted each week, you may go faster.
  • Students will need to speak face to face to customers, co-workers and their supervisor.

  • Have the ability to participate in physical activities such as bike riding, rock climbing and kayaking  for periods of up to two hours.

  • Students must attend Interactive Live Sessions (ILS) scheduled on a Monday and a Wednesday afternoon for 1 x hour to participate in collaborative learning.
  • Students must have their webcams on and speak to other students using a microphone.
  • Students must have access to a fast and reliable internet connection when the webcam and microphone are in operation.
  • To demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, students will be expected to hand in one task per week.  The tasks are 75% practical, making/producing tasks and some of the theory tasks are completed as a whole class group.   Students may need to schedule a further 1 to 3 hours per week as part of their personal creative art making process.

  • Students must complete 100 hours of work experience placement. The signed Work Experience Agreement form is due before the end of Term 1, Week 4.
  • The student and family will be expected to find their own work placement prior to the commencement of the course.
  • Students must attend interactive live sessions for collaborative learning, using their microphones and webcams for participation. These sessions are held for two hours on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Video recordings are provided for revision purposes but do not substitute for attendance and active participation.
  • To demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, Students will be expected to hand in one practical assignment task per week, which is completed in their own time in addition to interactive sessions. Up to 1 hour per task.
  • Year 10 students are required to have an online interview with the trainer prior to the course commencing.

  • Viewing the recordings however does not substitute attendance and interaction.

  • Students must have access to a fast and reliable internet connection when the webcam and microphone are in operation.
  • To demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, students will be expected to hand in one task per week.
  • Tasks include both theory and practical application of the content delivered in the course.
  • 75% of the tasks in the course are practical.
  • Students may work on tasks during the scheduled ILS times, some theory tasks are completed as a class group.
  • The expectation is that students will need to schedule a further 1 to 3 hours a week into their personal study timetable to complete tasks to a Competent level.  Further time is deteremined by the students creative art making experience.

  • Students must attend live, interactive lessons for collaborative learning, 2 hours on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Video recordings are used as revision tools and do not replace attendance and interaction.
  • Students must have their webcam on and speak to other students using a microphone. 
  • Students must have a fast and reliable internet connection, as well as a webcam and microphone, to participate in video conferencing.
  • Students must attend two in-person intensives in Terms 2 and 3.
  • Students must complete intensives, which can be completed at your local church or equivalent:
    • The Performance Stream must complete one intensive in Term 2 for practical learning on operating sound equipment.
    • The Production stream completes two internships: one in Term 2 for practical learning on operating sound equipment and one in Term 3 for AV and lighting. 
  • To demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, Students will be expected to hand in one practical assignment per week, which they will complete in their own time, in addition to interactive sessions. 30 minutes to 2 hours per task.

SIS30321 Cert III in Fitness - I have read and agree to the course requirements

  • Students must plan and instruct (lead) six separate exercise sessions with parents, teachers and volunteer adults delivered both online and in person during scheduled times (For example, Mondays and Wednesdays at 1pm, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8am).
  • Students must attend a 3-day intensive workshop in Term 1 in the Brisbane area, where they will complete body composition and fitness assessments on clients, and complete a first aid course..
  • Students must attend live interactive lessons using their webcam and microphones for  collaborative learning, 2 hours on Monday and  Wednesday afternoons. Note: video recordings are used as revision tools and do not substitute for  attendance and interaction.
  • Students must have fast reliable internet connection with webcam and microphone for video conferencing and exercise sessions.

ICT30120 Cert III in Information Technology - I have read and agree to the course requirements

  • Students must attend interactive live sessions for collaborative learning, 2 hrs on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Session recordings are to be used as revision tools only as they cannot substitute for attendance and mandatory workplace-like interaction.

  • Students must have a fast, reliable internet connection with a computer, webcam and microphone. During class, students must have their webcam and microphone on and interact with other students. 

  • To demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, students will be expected to hand in one practical assignment per week, which is completed in their own time in addition to interactive sessions. Approximately 1 hour per task.

  • A second computer is required  for test bench tasks. This computer will be repeatedly wiped and rebuilt several times for different functions, and may remain unusable for several days at a time. You can either bring your own Dell laptop running Windows 11 OS (Dell  is mandatory due to BIOS compatibility), or, for $190, Faith will provide a refurbished laptop at the mandatory Intensive. This device is more than sufficient for all course tasks and will be rebuilt as a fully-functioning  media or ad-blocking server upon completion of the course.

CPC10120 Cert I in Construction - I have read and agree to the course requirements

  • Must attend all intensives and complete the home project. Use of handtools and Power tools.With require dress equipment.

  • Must attend a local Whitecard training centre . 2 days $90 cost.May involve an online component

More about RTO Course Fees

What is the Course Application Fee?

The Course Application Fee is a non-refundable fee per course, payable to secure enrolment in the course.

Change Request: 30 Day Window from Course Commencement

The Course Application Fee will be applied 30 days from commencement of the course. Students may choose to withdraw within this 30 day window and transfer credit to be applied to another course from our course offering. Enrolment fees apply regardless of student engagement and/or attendance. Students who choose to withdraw after the 30 day window may do so, but must pay a new Course Application Fee. 

When can students enrol? 

Certificate I and Certificate II 

Students can enrol at any time for Certificate I and Certificate II Courses. Generally, the courses take 12 months to complete from commencement. 

Certificate III

Certificate III Courses commence in Term 1 only. A new Course Application Fee will apply if students wish to retake a Course.
