SIS20419 Cert II in Outdoor Recreation

In-Person Component

Outdoor Recreation is for students who want to be active, healthy and engaged in a variety of  outdoor recreation activities and different environments.

Many fundamental activity planning techniques and field work will allow people with this  qualification.  Students will work under direct supervision of trainers to become competent in the planning, finalising and delivery of activities in unique and different activities.

This course uses a range of fundamental skills to develop the students to be able to work in an outdoor or indoor environment and assist in delivering Adventure Based Learning programs, school camps and other recreational activities.  The skills and knowledge taught in this course provide a gateway for inclusion in the outdoor industry and provides an entry level of skills and knowledge to assist on programs.
