This course is designed to prepare students with the basic skills and work ethic to undertake entry level roles in the rigorous and often competitive screen and media industry. During this training, students will learn the necessary skills to develop and create video and photographic media using both their own resources and industry-standard software and equipment. In addition, students will be introduced to many aspects of the Screen and Media industry such as lighting, sound, editing, production, photography, and use of social media as an industry tool.

Students will participate in two 2-Day intensive Workshops with commercial-grade video equipment and cameras in the Brisbane area. Here they will gain hands on experience working in a crew while learning the skills and protocols of working on a film set.
