Set Up Process:

The parent set up process for Box of Books can be done online within minutes. Please follow the instructions as outlined in “How do parents access Box of Books?”.

Timeframe for Book Delivery by Box of Books: 

Please refer to the Box of Books website. Generally, physical items can take time to be packed and delivered to families so please allow time to receive your items before the commencement of term. Digital resources should be available for students to access within 72 hours of purchase/activation.

Parents are free to choose where they purchase textbooks and stationery for your students. Please feel free to check if you have the textbook version already, consider borrowing from your local library for English text novels, and always check for availability of textbooks through the Faith Library by emailing resources@faith.qld.edu.au

There are a number of advantages to purchasing with Box of Books. 
Firstly, each year Faith provides Box of Books with a set booklist for each year and subject with the required textbook including required edition/version for your student for their year of study. This allows you to feel confident that your student will be using the correct textbooks required for their subjects. 

Additionally access to the Maths textbook for Years 7 to 10 is available to Faith students at no cost to families. In recent years, Faith has established a contractual agreement between the school and Box of Books to access the Maths Quest textbook (digital only) for Years 7 to 10 at no additional cost to students. This arrangement is for digital access via Book of Books, not JacPlus or Jacaranda as the publisher. If you choose to go to Jacaranda directly and purchase either the Maths textbook or the Maths digital access, this will be at cost to students.
 

Yes, students can borrow textbooks from the library throughout the year. Enquiries should be directed to resources@faith.qld.edu.au for availability of textbooks through the Library before purchasing. We will make every effort to minimise the cost of having the correct textbook requirements for each of your students wherever and whenever we can.

Please be aware that physical textbooks loaned by the school may include redundant digital code, which will not give digital access to that particular textbook title.
