How to Create Profiles on Google Chrome

Follow the steps below to set up individual profiles in Google Chrome and enable Microsoft Single Sign-On access for each

Download Google Chrome 

  1. If Google Chrome is not already installed on your device, open any internet browser. 
  2. Search for "Google Chrome download" and follow the prompts to install the browser. 

Set Up Your First Profile 

  1. Once Chrome is downloaded and opened, a sign-in screen will appear. 
  2. Click "Continue without an account". 
  3. Enter a name for the new profile and continue. 

Install the Microsoft Single Sign-On Extension 

  1. Visit the Google Chrome Webstore at https://chromewebstore.google.com/
  2. Use the search bar to find "Microsoft Single Sign-On". 
  3. Click on the "Add to Chrome" button to install the extension. 

Activate the Extension 

  1. In the top right corner of Chrome, click the puzzle piece icon to view installed extensions. 
  2. Locate the Microsoft Single Sign-On extension and click the pin icon to keep it visible. 
  3. Click on the Microsoft extension to open it. 

Log In to Microsoft 

  1. You will be redirected to a Microsoft login screen. 
  2. In the top right corner, click the "Sign In" button. 
  3. Enter the Faith-provided student email and password to log in. 

Add Multiple Profiles 

  1. To add another student or user, click the profile icon in the top right corner of Chrome. 
  2. Select "Add" to create a new profile, click the “Continue without an account” 
  3. Then repeat the steps above to set up the Microsoft extension. 

Switch Between Accounts 

  1. After logging in to Microsoft, click the profile icon in the bottom left corner of the extension. 
  2. Select "Sign in with a different account". 
  3. Enter the Faith-provided details for the next student or user. 

Once these steps are complete, each Chrome profile will be logged in to Microsoft services with the associated Faith email address.
