Faith Christian School of Distance Education is a Christian, co-educational school catering for students in Years Prep to 12. We view our role as a school of distance education as follows: to ensure students have access to high quality and teacher-led curriculum, as well as the resources to achieve their goals and discover God’s plan for their lives.
Faith Christian School was started in 2012 after much prayer and consultation by our founding Principal, Jason Caldwell and many parents who believed in the vision. As a registered school, the goal was to help parents educate their children at home with the support of Christian Teachers.
Enrolments after two years had grown to 430 students and after eight years grew to over 1000 students. We know that if we continue to give quality, Godly service, God will bless the service He has entrusted us with. We believe that we have been entrusted with resources to support student learning, progress, and attainment.
An important key to Faith Christian School is the belief that Christian Education should be about giving and serving, just as Jesus lived as the ultimate servant who gave freely. We believe education should be affordable, with teachers and systems that serve students and families.
Faith Christian School starts with Founding Principal, Jason Cawldwell.

As your Principal, my team and I are fully committed to ensuring that our school provides high quality education and a range of experiences as well as having a uniquely high level of relationship between our teachers and a clearly defined Christian Worldview.
With Faith, we can go the distance.
Our qualified and QCT-registered teachers are supported by ongoing Professional Development and energetic Support Staff.
We are one of the largest independent Distance Education schools in Queensland. We provide local support in all eight of our regions, from the city to the bush.
We offer a rich diversity of curriculum units based on the National Curriculum and taught through a Christian Worldview.
We are serious about our mission to help students to fulfil their God-given potential. This acknowledges the importance of allowing academic, social and spiritual opportunities to grow and develop.
The important keys to this mission are a strong foundation in Christ, family values, and a zest for life. These characteristics provide a base for students that help them to achieve success in their learning.
Our teachers are all QCT-Registered Teachers with relevant subject and teaching experiences. They share the school’s strong Christian and family values.
God has brought together a growing team of teaching, support and administration staff, as well as parent volunteers who give their time to support activities and provide resources. Our staff are locally-based and our prayer is that we provide quality learning support and service.
A fundamental key to ideal learning, which includes retention, is found in giving students the Opportunity To Experience Learning Success (OPTES).
We believe it is our responsibility as teachers, working with parent educators, to ensure every student has the opportunity to experience learning success.
The services we provide are dependent on our dedicated and talented staff who have a commitment to Distance Education.
Teachers work on location with students individually, sharing a fun learning activity to get to know students before working with them.
Faith follows a Christian World View philosophy of education, and our teachers and staff share this vision.
