Education

Faith offers non-denominational, co-educational distance education for students in Years Prep to 12, with a strong curriculum, dedicated teachers, and a variety of learning support and resources

The basis of our philosophy is founded in a Christian worldview. This worldview also aligns with the Mparntwe Education Declaration, with the desire for each student to reach their God-given potential.

Faith Christian School of Distance Education takes the teacher’s responsibility seriously in providing students with the skills and the mentoring needed for them to participate in society and to be able to function with a strong sense of well-being.

Students are enrolled according to their chronological age and are then progressed consecutively through the different year levels. There are three stages to the school: P-6 (Primary), 7-9 (Secondary), 10-12 (Senior Secondary). As students progress through the different stages of learning, the school aims to develop confidence and a motivation for learning inspired by passion and creativity.

Personalised Learning Programs

All Faith students in Prep to Year 9 have a Personal Learning Plan. This plan forms an extension of the teacher’s unit plan and provides opportunity for provision of adjustments that a student needs in accessing learning or any differentiation in the approach taken in delivering or demonstrating learning.

Parents, as frontline deliverers of learning, have access to this plan which forms an ongoing avenue of consultation between the home learning environment and the teacher.
