Calling all Year 5 and Year 6 students. Come on Faith’s first ever Canberra trip! This is your opportunity to travel on a plane interstate to learn about the history of our great nation while building friendships and skills of independence.
This trip aligns with the Civics and Citizenship sub-strand of HASS, where students study the key institutions of Australia’s democratic government. Together, with teaching staff, they will examine Australian citizenship and reflect on the rights and responsibilities that being a citizen entails, and explore the obligations that people may have as global citizens. If history, civics or adventure inspire you be sure to register your interest in the 2024 Canberra trip.
Parents/guardians are also welcome to accompany their student on this trip. Please contact your class teacher for more details and adult ticket prices.
Please contact your class teacher should you have any questions.
This program will have students engage in various activities at various locations. We recommend that they don’t bring expensive items in case something gets misplaced or lost.
If your student requires medications please organise a Webster pack to use over the camp period. You will need to make yourself and student known to staff upon arrival and pass on the Webster pack for safekeeping.
