1. QLD School Sport Opportunities

Interested in joining a Qld Schools team sport selections across the state?

Each year, Queensland School Sport offers pathways for all students to trial for District, Regional and State representative teams in a range of sports.  Students in schools across QLD attend trials at local schools to be selected in District teams, which then compete at Regional Carnivals.  From these Regional Carnivals, regional representative teams are selected to compete at State and National levels.  It is a great achievement to be selected in any District, Regional or State representative team in QLD.

It is our desire to provide sporting opportunities to Faith students and as such, we are seeking interest from families who may wish to consider trialling for a particular sport in their local district.

This form would indicate that your child is interested in attending trials for a specific sport and that you would like to be provided with some further information about representative sport opportunities in your local area. There may be a small cost involved if your child is selected in a representative team.  

Students who wish to nominate and attend a District trial need to currently be playing in a club/fixtures and demonstrate a high level of ability.

2. Christian School QLD – Swimming Nominations School Sport Opportunities

Interested in attending QLD Christian Schools swimming carnival in South East Queensland?

Faith Christian School is a part of the Christian Schools Sports Association, Qld (CSSAQ).  As such, our students have the opportunity to compete at the CSSAQ Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals. 

At this stage, if you are interested in your child participating in the CSSAQ SWIMMING carnival to be held in Brisbane, please click here and open the link to complete the form by TUESDAY 28 FEB including listing personal best times for each event.

NOTES:

CSSAQ Swimming Carnival 9 – 19 years; Monday 13th March; 9am-2:30pm; Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Chandler.

Private transport is required to and from the venue.

Nominations for CSSAQ Cross Country (8 May, Ipswich) and CSSAQ Athletics (15 August, Brisbane) will be sent out closer to these events.

3. Christian School QLD – Team Games Nominations

Interested in attending the CSSAQ Team Games?

An exciting opportunity exists for Faith students to potentially be involved in the CSSAQ Team Games. 

These are Team Sport Gala Days, which are all held in South East Qld, with Christian schools competing against each other at a one day event.

Faith will nominate a team if we receive sufficient interest from students and can organise training days prior to the gala days.
