Our first ever SEQ swimming carnival at Bethania Aquatic Centre last Friday was an excellent day with perfect weather, bringing out the best in our 50+ swimmers. The competition was tough but friendly, and we had an excellent turnout with well over 100 people at the pool. Our swimmers’ efforts were recognised with age champion medallions, as well as place and participation ribbons, promoting sportsmanship and team spirit. It was a great day and we are already looking forward to next year.
